Ivan Penehe is a New Zealand rugby league player who currently plays professionally for the New Zealand Warriors.
Signed from rugby union's ranks, Penehe was been one of the real finds of the 2010 season. Strong and with plenty of pace, good under the high ball, he broke into the club's NYC team early in the campaign and established himself as a first-choice player until a knee injury ended his season. Ineligible for the NYC in 2011, he was upgraded to join the NRL squad where he continued his recovery from knee surgery. He started the 2011 season late, being used either on the wing or in the centres for the Auckland Vulcans in the New South Wales Cup. Another player out of Kelston Boys' High School, he likes butter chicken and lists Remember the Titans as his favourite movie and African songs as his favourite music.
